Say I search for "fair trade coffee" with Qwant and I want to repeat the search in Google without retyping it.

I can do this fine in Firefox for iOS by doing the following:

  1. Enter my search in the awesomebar, load the results
  2. Touch the awesomebar, my last search query is displayed
  3. Select a different one-off search button

But on desktop Firefox, at step 2 my last search query is not displayed only the current address so I cant proceed in the same way.

Is this not possible on Desktop Firefox?

I am a returning chrome user so I like the awesomebar however I would probably go back to the traditional search box if this repeat search functionality is not available for awesomebar on Desktop.
