I am getting redirected after doing a Goggle search. How do I get my regular search page back?

more options

I am getting redirected after doing a Google search. It just started doing that a week ago. It happens every time I do a search. The search page I am redirected to has at the top "Sign in: YAHOO" Am I redirected to a YAHOO page? I would like by search only at Google search. I have checked my preference on Foxfire... and they are correct. Always check if Firefox is your default browser Firefox is currently your default browser Version 59.0.2 (64-bit) Provide search suggestions: checked Choose the default search engine to use in the address bar and search bar. Google, Bing, Amazon, Duck Duck GO Warn you when websites try to install add-ons: box checked

Thank YOu

One possible culprit would be an extension. You can view, disable, and often remove unwanted or unknown extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Command+Shift+a (Windows: Ctrl+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
  • type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return

In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions.

Then cast a critical eye over the list on the right side. Any extensions Firefox installs for built-in features are hidden from this page, so everything listed here is your choice (and your responsibility) to manage. Anything that mentions searching, or looks suspicious, or that you just do not remember installing or why? If in doubt, disable (or remove).

Any improvement?
