Even with Flash permitted, I can no longer upload multiple pictures to a website. It will allow one picture to be loaded at a time, but even then some uploads fail and have to be retried several times. This happens with several websites and I can upload multiple pictures using other browsers, which rules out problems with the sites

This just started happening, I was able to upload groups of 35+ pictures last week without problems

You have two different versions of Flash installed for Firefox, which can cause problems like that.

    Shockwave Flash 27.0 r0
    Shockwave Flash 29.0 r0

Adobe Flash is notorious for not always removing old Flash Plugin DLL files as part of a Flash program update. Sometimes the user needs to uninstall Flash completely and get a clean start.

First, grab the Adobe uninstaller from here: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

2nd, get Flash here: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ Make sure that you deselect the "Optional offers" before you select "Install Now".

Run the Flash uninstaller program, then reboot your PC. Then install the Plugin version of Flash. You'll then have a clean installation of Flash for Firefox.

Following those instructions did not solve the problem

When trying to upload more than one picture it shows that it is trying to upload the first two and then totally locks up

You're sure that about:plugins now only shows NPSWF32_29_0_0_171.dll and no other Flash versions.

NPSWF64_29_0_0_171.dll is the only thing showing

I assume the difference is the 32 vs 64 bit version of Windows
