Keyword field in Bookmark properties
Hi,
Does anyone knows why the keyword field have been removed from the bookmark properties accessible with the blue star in the omnibar ?
I do find a lot of posts about the description field removal, but nothing about the keyword field.
Keywords are still working in firefox 65 but managing or assigning them became a real pain in the @%µ£.
Thanks for your infos.

When you are using either the Bookmarks Menu (Alt+b), Bookmarks Toolbar, or Bookmarks Sidebar (Ctrl+b), you can right-click the bookmark you want to edit and click Properties on the context menu.

Hmm, Keyword hasn't been there in recent memory. This was Firefox 52:
You have to use the right-click > Properties dialog or, if that's inconvenient, the Library window.

Where do you use the right-click > Properties dialog ?
I can't find other way to access the keyword field than the bookmarks library which takes minimum 5 clicks, and way more if you have to find your bookmark in sub-folders.

The Keyword field is there under 'Show All Bookmarks'. However, I don't use the Keyword field anymore, since a number of FF versions ago, searching didn't work for me.
Is search working for the Keyword field in FF 65.xx now?
It does work for me when terms are entered in the Tags field, however.

Hi Pj, keyword is a shortcut for the address bar. For example, you can associate gm with Gmail and ms with Mozilla Support, and then to load those bookmarks, type the keyword in the address bar and press Enter. Search boxes also can be saved as keyworded bookmarks.
Thanks jscher2000,
the right-click>Properties on bookmarks in the "bookmark toolbar" works perfectly. I never thought about this path.
I still don't understand why the "bookmark blue star box" doesn't show the same field than the properties one but this trick will do the job.
