I am trying to open a specific website. I found that I would need to clear my history. But, it is greyed out. So, not only cannot get the website I need to open. I cannot get Firefox history to clear.

And, I found that the print screen showing the greyed out clear history area will not upload so I could show the item.

The website is up and running as I have tried to see if it was down. It was not. I did open it on another browser. But, I need to use Mozilla since I don't trust the other browsers.

Hello ziggysam2017,

Would you please make sure that you're not in permanent Private Browsing mode :

3-bar menu (or 'Tools') => Options => Privacy & Security => under 'History' => Firefox will : choose : 'Use custom settings for history' Uncheck : 'Always use private browsing mode'

[v57+] Places Maintenance is built into Firefox.

Type about:support<enter> in the address bar.

You will find Places Database near the bottom. Press the Verify Integrity button.

When done, copy and post the results here.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
