My windows7 server died so I've had to move to a new Windows10 server Previously I had no issues simultaneously running Thunderbird on both the Windows7 Server and my Windows8 laptop simultaneously using the same profile stored on a shared network drive. Both instances were started using "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe" -profile "\\VOYAGER\Tolkeen\Profiles\qv3iz8xf.default" Since I've moved to the Windows10 server I can only run on 1 machine at a time. If I try and start Thunderbird on the other machine I get the "Thunderbird is already running but is not responding. The Old Thunderbird...." error. So what gives, why can I no longer share the profile between 2 instances of Thunderbird?

You can't do that simultaneously
