I've looked in Program Files and Program Files (x86) and there is no .EXE any more. I updated the program today following Mozilla's prompting, and as soon as it installed I feared there was a problem, as the shortcuts lost their icons. There is no Mozilla folder under Program Files (x86) , and under Program Files\Mozilla\ there are two folders called 'tobedeleted' and 'uninstall'. So where has the executable gone ? My profile seems to have survive though.

A simple little tool to let you search for files is called 'Everything' and is at this url: voidtools dot com - it's free and solves questions such as this. I find it indispensable.
