login to server pop.earthlink.net username xxxxxx failed - get the same message multiple times daily
I've attached a screenshot of the error message I get about 10 times each day, even though I have no trouble sending or receiving emails!!! It's just a MAJOR inconvenience and a pain the neck.
Anyone in the same boat and has any one figured out how to correct this glitch?

Have you reported this to Earthlink? This seems like a problem with their servers. All Thunderbird does is send the account info you provided and then display any return message.
