I have deleted and re-installed Firefox, I have set my home page as www.google.com and also another time as www.google.com.au and it stills comes up with Google UK. How can i stop this from happening as all i get are UK sites. Not very helpful in Australia, we used to get the choice of searching Australian sites and the WWW.

Hello Tracey.

Does this happen on other browsers or just Firefox? If it happens on other browsers too, it's possible that you are using a proxy in the UK or that your IP is being wrongly detected as being in the UK. You should contact your ISP or Google to solve this. If it only happens in Firefox, you may be having a problem with some extension or plugin that is hindering your Firefox's normal behavior. Have you tried disabling all add-ons (just to check), to see if Firefox goes back to normal?

I tried disabling all my add-ons and still had the same problem of connecting to Google UK. I can contact my ISP tomorrow to see if they have a solution to this. I also tried with Internet Explorer and that also came up with Google UK. I have searched the internet with a way of contacting Google but could not find a way to do this directly over the internet. Only found an international phone number and a mailing address. Thanks for your help and if you can come up with anything else to try, it would be appreciated. Thank you.
