Got update and now it says it can't connect to proxy server- I don't use one!

I dowloaded the most recent update (atually I didn't have a choice, it just came) and when it installed I could no longer access the net- it said it was trying to connect with a proxy server. Problem is I don't use one.

Have you checked the Firefox connection settings?
