Updated Firefox multiple times but it doesn't seem to keep 3.6.6 update-what to do?

more options

I have updated to the Firefox version multiple times (to version 3.6.6). Every time my Yahoo mail comes up, it says that it is unsupported and I need to update to the newest version of Firefox. I have had this same type of notice from other sites. I keep updating, but it never seems that the update "holds" for more than the immediate session. I had never had this problem with any prior update.

Your UserAgent string in Firefox is absolutely butchered (I've never seen one that bad before) by a program you installed, websites have no idea what version you are using. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_Agent

type about:config in the URL bar and hit Enter If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access that page. Filter = general.useragent. Right-click the preferences that are bold, one line at a time, and select Reset, Then restart Firefox

THANK YOU!! I've been having a lot of problems (a virus had infected over 1000 files a couple of months ago) and even our local cable had to straighten out our email. This worked like a charm! Out of curiosity, what should a "normal" UserAgent string look like?
