Is it possible to download v3.6 as an alternative to v4.0, at least for a transitional period?

I had the following problems with v4.0 and I had to revert to v3.6: i. Quite a few of my add-ons did not work. For example, Firebug did not work as smoothly as it did with v3.6. Cacheviewer did not work at all. ii. I simply did not like the position of the Refresh button and Stop button in v4.0. Liked them as they were in v3.6, close to the Back and Forward buttons. iii. V4.0 was perceptibly slower than v3.6, due maybe to my collection of enabled add-ons or maybe to a new cache etc. I live in a place where the Internet is very slow, and v3.6 performed very well in my circumstances.

You can do a custom install and install each version in its own program folder.

Create a new profile exclusively for each Firefox version and create a desktop shortcut with -P "profile" appended to the target to launch each Firefox version with its own profile.
