I installed firefox 4, now when ever I click my mouse to move to a new application it gives me a Javascript popup error box saying "uninstal set". So it is constantly poping up with this box. Do you know why?

The Javascript error box pops up as soon as I open Firefox and then everytime I use the mouse click.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Thank you so much. That worked. It was the extentions not the exceleration issue. I didn't even know there was such a thing. I removed just a few of the extentions I didn't recognize, including some earlier versions of Java, and it solved the problem. Thank you!
