Java 2 Plugin v1.5_00-1.6_99. But what about java plug-in 1.60_26. I wanted to confirm should this plug-in included in the add-on blocklist or a better question what java plug-ins and the java console extensions should be included in firefox 5?

You should always use the latest Java version. Older versions have security vulnerabilities and should not be used. You do not need Java Console extension and they may also not work anyway.

All version of Java 5 and versions of Java 6 eariler than update 10 are disabled. Java 6 update 10 was the first version to include next-generation plugin Oracle till now doesn't recommend latest version of Java (7) to its users, nor does apache tomcat nor porter stemmer recommend it nor nokia. best versions right now is from java 6 update 10 to java 6 update 27 . java plugin is the only part important to user. java console is only important to developer and doesn't work in recnet verions of firefox till now. .
