installing firefox, my yahoo 'favorites' column is gone?

when installing firefox, I was asked if I wanted to continue using Yahoo as my home page. I did, but when opened the Firefox version of Yahoo home page , my 'favorites' list went away. I cannot figure out how to correct this, or if Firefox has its own method of showing 'favorites'

There is an updated version of the toolbar available (Yahoo! Toolbar :: Add-ons for Firefox). I don't know whether you need to remove the one you have, or simply check for updates. I suggest checking for updates first, 'cause you wouldn't want to lose any saved data.

To check for add-on updates, try:

orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Add-ons

Toward the upper right, near the search box, there is a gear icon that leads to a drop-down menu. Choose Check for Updates.

Does that work?

By the way, Firefox's favorite sites are called Bookmarks. However, I'm not sure that's the same list as the one on your Yahoo! toolbar.

We would like to find the favorites. They have disappeared. Thanks.

@hanlons, could you start a new question and include your Firefox version and add-on information?
