when i start a new blank email message, a spamware message is loaded into my email. the email message looks like an advertisement but is very sloppy. i do not recall allowing this add-on in my hotmail email. at any rate, now i cannot get rid of it. i was able to copy the "source" info from the email spam message. so maybe someone can look at this and see if they can advise me how to neutralize it. i will put the "source" programming in "troubleshooting information" below using my copy/paste function from the source file.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
