may have found solution for the problem I reported - Javascript Application error message

Recently, I reported a problem - many error messages in boxes labelled Javascript Application. The messages started with "Exc ev handl:" and tended to conclude with "TypeError: oSAPlg.oRoot.log is not a function" or "Bad NPObject as private data!"

I ran McAfee Virtual Technician. It reported one problem. I permitted it to try to fix the problem and linked the problem to Firefox. For the moment, I am not getting Javascript Application error messages.

McAfee Site Advisor 3.4.0 just came out of the addons blocklist, and you have SiteAdvisor and even though that is the current version; nevertheless, you should uninstall it and reinstall it as noted in https://community.mcafee.com/message/203466 for a fresh version with only current files.

Also refer to http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions relating to McAfee Site Advisor 3.4.0 for more specific instructions.
