There is a search bar below the Firefox icon on the Mozilla Firefox Start Page but it does not work. The search bar in the upper right position works fine (I use Google). What is the point in putting a large search bar in the middle of the start page if it does not work?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

You can try to delete the file chromeappsstore.sqlite in the Firefox Profile Folder.
