I don't want to turn the warning off. I can do that. The re-direct is to the payments page of a large and reputable corporation. I want to know how to switch off this feature, if possible, or test it for at least this site. the "allow" button which appears at the top of the page does nothing all.

See:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > General : Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"

The setting in "Tools > Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.

It's NOT the WARNING that is my problem, but the action that Firefox takes. I WANT to allow Firefox to re-direct me to a payments page. Clicking the "allow" button makes no difference, as Firefox still will not allow any re-direct to the page I want.
