The colour bar on most, but not all, https sites is blue and not green. Does this mean they are not secure after all?

Until recently the little colour bar beside the address in each tab opened was green for https sites and clear for open sites. The colour for most https sites including my bank is now blue. Some are still green but most are blue. Does this mean that the sites are being hacked? Not safe? or anything else?

No. That are only certificates that are validated in different ways.

Green means an "Extended Validation SSL Certificate" and blue means a "Domain Validated SSL Certificate"
