Connection has timed out
In the last few days, I frequently am receiving Connection has timed out messages when loading pages. It does not occur on all pages. I just got that when coming to the forum. Click the retry and it immediately loads. How do I correct?

Just wanted to add, when I logged on earlier to post the first question, the message "Connection has timed out" seemed to happen within seconds. This was going from the log in page back to the forum page.
Sometimes, the message does not appear for a minute or so when loading a new page or as before, when going from one page to another within a domain.
This time, the forum page loaded without a problem and no error between log in page and returning to forum.
Therefore, this is an intermittent problem.

I also have this problem. I have contacted my ISP and they checked the speed which was in normal limits. The only thing I changed recently was I upgraded to FF 12.0. It's assertion of "amazing speed" falls far short, unless by "amazing" they mean amazingly slow.
About every other page I try to load times out.
To SB: I've been to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Error%20loading%20web%20sites, and that was not very helpful at all.
