The above is a desktop answer for an Android issue. Adobe has stopped supporting Flash on android 4.1 and higher.

One thing you can try is uninstalling the version of Flash rebooting the tablet. Then install the apk for Flash 11.1.115.27 from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html#main_Archived_versions it is about 2/3 of the way down the page.

Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox are most probably caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and/or a malfunctioning Real Player browser plugin.

In order to remedy the problem, please perform the steps mentioned in these Knowledge Base articles:

Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems

Adobe Flash plugin has crashed - Prevent it from happening again

Flash 11.3 doesn't load video in Firefox

Still same problems after doing what kbrosnan instructed as above, on v.ifeng.com, at the end of each Flash / video playing, the tablet Nexus 7 powers off, and occassionally it crashes, although what I did to fix the problems right away, is to power the tablet back on, or quit (twice) to exit out of firefox and get right back in, and then everything continues as usual. So, can any firefox technician or programmer help me out here?

But thank you for your trying to help, kbrosnan.

I am the question owner, a few days after I posted the reply as above saying "same problems...", most of the problems finally disappeared, but there are still some faults: 1. although "plugin enabled", I still needed to tap (once or twice )on the frame/box of the flash /video to bring on the video playing

2. although the number of crashes decreased a lot, it still crashed once or twice.

3. with my Nexus 7 running Android 4.2, is firefox or Firefox beta better? so, can any firefox technician or programmer or anyone help me out here?

Thank you.
