Hi petermcwerner,

What Error message You are getting ? I can watch the Video with Firefox.

Check that you haven't joint HTML5 on YouTube as that may send MP4 files that Firefox doesn't support.

Try to opt-out of HTML5 video on YouTube.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Thank you for your responses. They seem quite time consuming to try, so I prefer to continue using IE 10/64 on those YouTube sites where Fox provokes errors

You haven't told us what error messages you get in Firefox, so could you please do this?
