Have no functioning browser on a laptop. Can I downlod the install.exe and copy to laptop to install Firefox?
Windows Vista machine with non functioning Internet Explorer. Do not have disks to reinstall. I want to install Firefox but have no browser. Like to be able to install off CD or copy Install.exe to laptop if it will download Firefox to install without a browser.

You can download Firefox from http://getfirefox.com and transfer the download file onto a CD/ USB or something and bring it over and install it to your other computer.
I think the closest thing you can get to a ready-to-run browser that doesn't need to install to the registry, etc., is the "PortableApps" build of Firefox. You need to run an executable to "unzip" the files into a folder, but that's all.
This is unofficial: http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable
All I need is a "network install" version of Firefox...I have several machines to load Firefox onto and I'm not going to sit and wait for each one to download...
Hi ac0mputerguru, if you mean you want to save the full installer to your server so you can install onto networked client PCs from there, you can grab the "full" installer for your language/OS from this page:
