Using Firefox v.31 and no problem. Recently installed Bitdefender and it tells me to update Firefox. Went to Control Panel and found Mozilla Firefox v.29 and unable to delete. No Firefox v.31 listed. Was thinking of uninstalling v.29 and reinstalling v.31 but cannot delete. What's my solution to this problem?. Using XP SP3 Thanks

Sometimes the Firefox registry entry that is read by the Windows Control Panel to create the list in Add/Remove Programs doesn't get updated properly. It might get fixed in the next update (Firefox 32) in a few weeks. I wouldn't worry about it right now as long you only see one folder with "Mozilla Firefox" in the name here:

C:\Program Files\
