My signature is no longer included on reply emails.
I guess I can understand why some folks would not want a signature included if the reply is one in a chain of back and forths - but, for example, as an initial reply to a received email, why would one not want their sig included?
This is a problem for me.
Why have signatures in reply emails been turned off?
Is there a way that I can re-enable my sig for reply emails?
using TB 31.3.0

Go to Menu (Hamburger Button) and choose Options -> Account Settings. Choose your account and select Composition & Addressing. There you can select to include a signature for replies and/or forwarded messages.
Hey Onno - and thanks for the reply - Yes - I did that (it was already done when I first posted - should have said something - sorry. Anyway, I re-did it after your note - then restarted TB. Still no sig in reply ... haven't re-tested forward.
Try holding the shift key while starting thunderbird see if an add-on or theme is the issue
Hi Matt - if I continue in safe mode, same thing - no sig in replies
do you have more than one account configured? How many identities are on the account. (Right click and select settings and then the identities button. Signature settings are per identity, as well as per account.
one account only - one identity only (not sure about the "right click" - I selected Tools | Account Settings - clicked the one account and then the "manage identities" button
not solved - sorry - I hit the wrong button in the mail notice :-( Still not getting sig in any reply or fwd
where do I go to report this as still being a problem so that it can be looked at for a future revision?
