The attachment shows a window on the right that's appeared the last couple of days. It's covering up gmail now. With the arrow cursor on the left it can be moved from the left hand edge to the right or left leaving @ 1/6th to 1/3rd showing on the gmail screen.

How do I get rid of this screen and back to normal.

Firefox 43.0.4 Macbook OS X 10.8.5

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?
