up until I upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 10 using Thunderbird as my default email when I chose to send an image via email, the option to downsize image was given and when I chose to downsize the image , it was downsized and sent. Now I still get the option but when I downsize the image I get the following message." There is no email program to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel". Microsoft refuses to help me without a service charge. Norton says it is not a Norton problem and wants to charge to help. How can I find someone to walk me through the process of creating an association in the Default programs control panel? I get confused with all the technical jargon and would very much love to get some help with this issue. Thanks, Graybird

I downsize images within Thunderbird using an add-on. The way you describe it, I get the impression that you're expecting the OS to intervene for you. If so, that makes it a Windows 10 question, perhaps, rather than a Thunderbird question.

You may need help from a Windows 10 aficionado. That isn't me. :-(
