Where are the tab options in Firefox?
TabMixPlus add on is apparently no longer supported in the latest Firefox for Windows. What other addon provides similar functionality? The Tools/options is much more limited in the latest Firefox versions than it used to be. Where do I tell Firefox to duplicate a tab, and how to manage tabs?.

Here's a thread on custom style rules for a multi-row tab bar. I haven't tried it myself: https://www.reddit.com/r/FirefoxCSS/comments/7dclp7/multirow_tabs_in_ff57/
Again thanks for the research and help. I just tried it and it seems to work just fine. Thank you.

can have a look through these : https://alternativeto.net/software/tab-mix-plus/
Have found that using this as the search term Firefox Tab Mix Plus comparable is good in Google https://www.google.ca/search?dcr=0&q=firefox+Tab+Mix+Plus+comparable&spell=1&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiF6pvspbzXAhUBXWMKHaFrAWsQBQgjKAA&biw=1366&bih=604
Can also use that from the Extensions page

To duplicate a tab without using an add-on, you can:
- Hold down Ctrl, and click the reload button in the address bar
- Hold down Ctrl, and click and drag the tab to a new spot on the Tabs bar if you want to choose the spot where it goes
I'm not sure what you mean about how to manage tabs. Could you be more specific about the missing features you need to replace?
It is not too difficult to duplicate a tab in Firefox or move a tab to a new window (tear off feature).
- hold Ctrl (Mac: Command) and left-click or middle-click the Reload button in the location/address bar to open the current page in a new tab (i.e. duplicate the current tab)
- hold Ctrl (Mac: Command) and left-click or middle-click items in the tab history of the back/forward buttons to open a page from that list in a new tab
You can hold down the left mouse button on either Back or Forward button to open the tab history - duplicate a tab with its history by holding down the Ctrl key (Mac: Option key) and dragging the tab to a new position on the Tab bar
- dragging a tab in the browsing area will detach the tab and move it to a new window, this is called tab tearing
you can also find a "Move to New Window" item in the right-click context menu of the tab on the Tab bar
- drag a tab back to the Tab bar in the original or anther window to undo a detach or move a tab to a specific window (an empty window is closed automatically)
.... (edit: I notice that Jeff posted a similar response, sorry for the repeat)

I'm still missing features from TabMixPlus like the tabs in 2-3 rows. Is there an alternate way to do this? And I can't get newly opened tabs to open with https://duckduckgo.com/ which I set as my home page instead of the firefox main page.

Hi Pamela245, I saw a post* with custom style rules for a multi-row tab bar, but I can't put my hands on it at the moment.
For the new tab page, please try this extension: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/new-tab-override/
* on Reddit, not here
