I've noticed that since Firefox updated to version 57, the stop loading and refresh icons are missing from the address bar. Is this a bug or have they been deliberately omitted, and if it's the latter, WHY?

hi Ian1947, the reload/stop button should be placed at the left of your address bar now. in case it isn't, go to the firefox menu ≡ > customize... panel and click on restore default at the bottom right...

Hi Ian1947, to add to the answer of philipp, if you press the Open Menu button at the very right, and select customize, you can move the reload/stop button wherever you want. I moved it to the right of the address bar where it is closer to its original place. While a page is loading, the button changes to the X stop button. Hope it helps!

Hi Ian 1947, from the r/firefox reddit forum from u/BatDogOnBatMobileNightly : " Try any of these extensions: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/reload-in-address-bar/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/reloader/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/australis-refresh-in-url-bar/ " It solved it for me :)

Thanks to both siparon and philipp.

For some reason the icon wasn't showing at all until I reinstalled the upgrade, then it appeared on the top left. I've now moved it to the right of the address bar as suggested.
