Restore default bookmarks location to "Bookmarks Menu" instead of "Other Bookmarks"
Hi,
Since a few weeks, whenever I bookmark something, it goes to the "Other Bookmarks" folder... Before, it went directly to my "Bookmarks Menu" folder, which is the behavior I want to reproduce, but can't find how...
I don't understand why it changed. When I bookmark something, I think it's logical that to find it back, that I go into my Bookmarks Menu...
I know I can change the folder when I am bookmarking a page, but this is NOT what I am looking for. I am looking for a shorter solution like I did before... Bookmark>>Bookmark this page... I understand it can sound picky, but the problem is that when I forget to change the folder once in a while when I am bookmarking, all my bookmarks become mixed up between the "Bookmarks Menu" and "Other Bookmarks"... Plus, it's longer...
Why would there even be a "Other Bookmarks" folder?? Is this bookmark not good enough for the others? Does it not have all the qualifications to become a true bookmark?
Anyways, anyone can help?
I am on 58.0.1 (64-bit).
Thanks

This extension adds an ability to change the default folder.

It works!
Still I find it odd that, first, the previous behavior was changed, and second, that I have to install an extension to do something that was built-in before...
I would be curious to hear what is Firefox's reason to discriminate user-added bookmarks and isolate them and tag them as "other bookmarks"... I think that when I add a bookmark, it's a "normal bookmark" and should go with my bookmarks... Why call it a "other bookmark"?
