On my Thunderbird (52.6.0 (32-bit)) all the Junk settings are identical: to automatically delete messages in the Junk folder after 30 days. This works fine on all accounts. On the principal account messages in the Spam folder are also automatically deleted after 30 days, which is what I want. But on all the other accounts messages in the respective Spam folders are not automatically deleted after 30 days but stay for ever (unless I manually delete them). How can I set the Spam folders on all accounts to automatically delete messages after 30 days?

Thunderbird doesn't "own" the Spam folder. That is put in place and populated by something outside Thunderbird, such as your own anti-spam software or that operated by your email provider.

As such, it isn't included in the list of folders which Thunderbird does housekeeping for.
