Every time I turn my PC on, the Firefox starts up again, including a "Google Security Warning" pop-up I can't close nor rid of at all. Why?

I was on sites on my Firefox this afternoon, & a pop-up opened called "Google Security Warning". (Something else was atop it saying "...corrupted...tx is requesting your username & password...".) I have gotten things like this before, but a restart or turning the PC off & back on rids of it. This time, I left it off for hours, & when I turned my PC on again, my session was restored, including these pop-ups.

Why?! Is it related to this weekend's updates & things? How do I fix it?!

The thing that was atop the Google bit had a # to call "for assist" or something like that. (Not kidding; It stopped mid-word.)

I called the number &, after a few problem calls (got hung up on while waiting, heard someone else being helped but not sure they could her me), I finally got someone to take over my cursor & somehow rid of the thing.

Thanks anyway!

A way out of a trap page is to (force it if needed) Close Firefox. Wait about 20 seconds for Firefox to finish closing. Right-click on the Firefox icon and select Open New Window. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Sometimes this works. If it opens, close it by Menu > File > Exit. This will flush out that web page from the Session Store.

1] Don't see how to mark it solved. 2] I used a provided phone number, & it got me to a person who was able to help, meaning people should use those non-spam numbers.
