Hello, using Firefox 68.0 on Android 9. While playing HTML5 audio on multiple sites, when I tap inside the progress bar, playback resumes at the tapped position. When I slide (seek) to any position, however, the playback freezes and the player goes unresponsive. I need to reload the page to be able to replay the audio.

Digging into this some more, I have connected my Android device to a Linux desktop Firefox running WebIDE. There, I see "firefox AbortError: The operation was aborted." in the console when seeking, scrubbing the audio player.

With this info, I found the following report in Bugzilla: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1507193 I have provided more details and a testcase there.

(The error occurs on the desktop Firefox, too, but does so less often. It also doesn't freeze the player while doing so.)

It seems, the best I can do is wait for this to be fixed.

Thanks, FWieP
