Hi,

As far as I know, I have been using sync option for my bookmarks for almost 6 years or so, and I used them in multiple devices (smartphones). Now, I don't have the other devices and also I lost all my important bookmarks and their passwords.

I reinstalled it now, and don't have my stuff.

I request you to please do the needful.

Regards,

Ravooru Kalyan Kumar.

Hi

Thank you for your response but please appreciate that we are volunteers doing our best to help - there is no need to shout.

You account is a means to tra after data between devices, the storage there is temporary and not designed to be used as a backup. In the past it appears you have been lucky and Firefox Sync has been able to transfer a copy back but as I mentioned previously, Firefox Sync is not designed to be used as a backup.

Hi

Thank you for your question about the Firefox Sync service.

It appears from your question, that you are using Firefox Sync as a back up service. This is not what Sync is designed to do. The Firefox Sync service takes a copy of the data you wish to include and transfers it to a second device (typically a mobile device such as a tablet or a telephone) running a copy of Firefox. The storage in between all attached devices is both temporary and fragile and is not stable enough to be (and is not designed as) a reliable backup service.

If you have a copy of your Firefox profile for desktop Firefox, you may be able to recover your bookmarks and other data. Please have a read of this article.

If you have a copy of your data on a mobile version of Firefox, please follow these instructions to connect it to Firefox Sync to copy your data.

Hi,

I don't think I have any data or profile copy on the mobile or computer on hand.

And for your information, I thought that whatever the data such as bookmarks, passwords, etc., I sync in my account, it will be available in my account, despite I lose data on the phone, WHICH I ALREADY USED AND RETRIEVED ALL MY PREVIOUS BOOKMARKS, PASSWORDS , ETC., BY JUST LOGGING INTO MY ACCOUNT INTO DIFFERENT MOBILES, THOUGH I DON'T HAVE ANY OF THEM RIGHT NOW.

Anyhow, Thank you for your valuable time for trying to explain to solve the issue THOUGH NOT SOLVED.

Regards,

Ravooru Kalyan Kumar.
