Can Thunderbird Mail 78.3.1 be switched to 68.12.0 ?

Can Thunderbird Mail 78.3.1 be switched to 68.12.0 ? I have 68.12.0 on my laptop and works great. Love it. I installed Thunderbird Mail on my husbands new computer and 78.3.1 is what he ended up with. He used to use outlook which doesn't work correctly on windows 10. Therefore, I put TB on there for him. I didn't realize that 78 was the version we got. When I saw it was different I thought it had to do with Windows 10. There are issues with 78.3.1, like the find does find email that we know is there. He uses that a lot. 68 it works fine. How can I get him on to 68.12.0?

Thank you

go back to an older version of Thunderbird.

Quit thunderbird and uninstall any installation Of Thunderbird out there, so the recent one. Make sure the installation is cleared.

try installing the downloaded older version you downloaded from the list for this. Above on the text.

after doing this stop the automatic update service for Firefox. Prevent for going back again.

If you have a firewall configure it to current use. And choose the options for now.

If you still had add-ons of a certain version, download to the version of now. A pop up menu comes up when you guys click on it.

This is about going back to an older version.

If you have any questions please send a message.
