Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then update Firefox. Is the problem still there?

In safe mode it worked after I opened help->about 1) how do I get it to work AUTOMACIALLY? 2) how can I find out what is causing the problem in regular mode? (any logfiles? event logs?)

I'm using MS defender FW, Bitdefender AV free and Bitdefender VPN Are any of those know to cause FF updte issues?
