Not so long ago I could highlight a link in a browser search bar and drag it to the body of a Thunderbird email and the link would be embedded in the text of the email.

Now Thunderbird wants to make the link an attachment.

How can I configure Thunderbird to its prior behavior of embedding the dragged link into the body of the email?

Thanks.

Steve

This is a change that will probably appear in a future release:

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1732903

It is fixed in the latest Betterbird.
