MacOS Dock Icon
Since update 106, there is a new dock icon for Firefox on MacOS tailored for Big Sur an above. I'm still using Mojave for 32bit apps, and it doesn't look as good. Can we have an option to revert back to the old dock icon?

I agree, it doesn't look right - and I'm running Monterey.
On macOS you can change the icon image quite easily though:
[1] Download the version of Firefox with the icon you prefer [2] Open the .dmg [3] In the "Drag-and-install" window that opens, do a Get Info on the Firefox app [4] Now do a Get Info on the Firefox install that is in your Applications folder - You should now have 2 Get Info windows open - One for the installed version and one for the old version with the icon you prefer. [5] Right-click on the icon at the top of the Get Info window that you prefer - Copy it to the clipboard [6] Click the icon at the top of your installed version - Paste the old/copied icon over the new. [7] Firefox will now have the icon for the version you prefer.
It's basically a cut and paste operation of the icons in the Get Info windows of both versions. This has been a neat little feature of macOS for years now. You can change the icon for any app with a simple Copy and Paste operation.
Hey ronpildil,
this new icon is part of the Firefox 106 release which was discussed in this discussion before. Please chime in on the Connect thread if you have feedback about this change.
