syncing bookmarks with custom folders
Hello: Have 3 Android phones with same FF login. Spent 3 hours today creating the folders I needed and moving 200+ bookmarks on one phone into the folders. Logged in and synced. Logged in the 2nd phone and synced.
Folders were created but no bookmarks in them. Resynced the 1st phone and it emptyed the folders and copied the bookmarks from the 2nd phone's top folder back to the first phone wiping out my work to move the bookmarks into the folders.
I have used FF for many years and not seen a failure of the magnitude.
HOW IS SYNC SUPPOSED TO WORK?
Please give us back a way to manually export the bookmarks for backup and install on new phones. Samsung and Google copy processes for old to new phones are terrible. Third party apps are no better. Even a way to copy the litesql would be a major improvement.
Also question why the folder creation and moving bookmarks is so convoluted?
Why not click on a folder, click add, add name, click done.
Click on edit a bookmark, click move, present folder list, click desired folder, present OK or Decline, click your choice, click done.
This has got to work better than jumping all over the screen following the current convoluted processes.
Thanks,
Ken

Hi Ken
I have removed your telephone number from your question for your privacy and security as this is an open forum and we do not provide telephone support.
With your data on one device, you should be able to sign into your Firefox Account on a second device and after a short while the data will be synced across.
