I get this when trying to get my email from Comcast:

Error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Thanks for the updated (to me) url. It works! Somehow when ver #115.0.1 installed, my previous url for Comcast became toxic. Had to learn about Edge, so the next time Mozilla attacks, I will be prepared.

Firefox does not care. You can fix it yourself or do without. I am migrating to Edge, which seems to work most of the time. Mozilla can stew in its' own juices.

It looks like Xfinity moved some pages around and old links are failing.

Could you try starting from https://www.xfinity.com/hub/

Toward the upper right, there's an account button (looks like a little head and shoulders in a circle) that opens a panel to sign in.

Any luck using the "Check Email" link on that account panel?

Tried the hub and the top right button. All that happens is an option to "Sign out". Tried that and got the error message again.

Are you using a proxy or VPN?

You can check the connection settings.

  • Settings -> General -> Network: Connection -> Settings

If you do not need to use a proxy to connect to internet, select "No Proxy" if "Use the system proxy settings" or one of the others do not work properly.

See "Firefox connection settings":

Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support to see if that has effect.

Unfortunately, I can't test this because I don't have an Xfinity login. I can fill the forms on login.xfinity.com but I don't know how you get to oauth.xfinity.com (the site where you get the error).

If I go to https://oauth.xfinity.com/ directly, I get the message

error="unsupported_response_type", error_description="Unsupported response types: [none]"

(Or in other words, Firefox connects without complaint.)
