Not showing IMAP only POP
I am trying to set up a new email address on Thunderbird but comes up as a POP account. I then set it up on another computer and it comes up as IMAP. I have tried setting up the IMAP manually but Thunderbird rejects. I have uninstalled the app and re installed it.

When first setting up an account, Thunderbird offers either POP or IMAP. If that isn't correct, just change it prior to filling in the rest of account information. If you're sure all the information is correct, omit the password during setup, as that at least allows Thunderbird to validate the proper connections to servers.
