I have a 2012 MacBook Pro, still using maverick's … I tried to upgrade Mozilla and now it doesn’t work.

I am shy of what’s needed to run the latest Firefox version and I’m not able to buy a newer laptop, how can I get restated again with the version that will still work on my MacBook ?.

Mac OS X Mavericks is 10.9.5

The most current version of Firefox you can run on the old eol macOS 10.9, 10.19, 10.11 is the old Firefox 78.15.0esr.

Firefox 79.0 to 115.0 requires macOS 10.12, 10.13, 10.14 to run while Firefox 116.0 and later including the current Firefox 128 ESR and 131.0.3 Release requires macOS 10.15 (ten.fifteen) at minimum to run.

You can download the Firefox 78.15.0esr.dmg from below. https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/78.15.0esr/mac/en-US/ folders of other locales https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/78.15.0esr/mac/

Also I moved this thread from Firefox for iOS (for iPhone/iPad) to Firefox section as you have macOS.
