Dear Sir or Madam, As you may know, Microsoft's "standard" mail support will end on 12/31/2024. I asked my friend and he said that if I use the Firefox browser, I can still "SEND and RECEIVE" e-mail messages even after the expiration date, so there is NOTHING to worry about. Therefore, I want to confirm that my "friend's opinion" is correct. Please let me know. Sincerely, Yasuo Gima

Your friend is 100% right. You will still be able to access Outlook mail through Firefox. Microsoft is just discontinuing the Mail and Calendar apps on the Windows 11 OS. They want people to start using their new Outlook app instead. They can not block Firefox from checking your Outlook mail.
