The CoolPreview add-on in Firefox is the culprit. Uninstall this add-on from Firefox will solve the problem. and by the way, today is PACman 30'th birthday. I believe it's something related to this issue.

I had the same problem this morning -- Drove me crazy for a couple hours... Disabling CoolPreview seems to have fixed the problem for me too -- Thanks for suggesting that!

I disabled and then deleted Cool previews and the Siren stopped as soon as I hit the uninstall button. Why the heck did it happen though? Di cool previews want people to stop using their add on or what?

A solution suggested earlier was to "KILL PACKMAN ON GOOGLE HOME PAGE". I went to google.com; the pacman game was part of the google image. How do I "kill" it at google's home page? Thanks

I had the same problem starting today and removing CoolPreview worked perfect.

I disabled cool previews and it solved the problem, and cool previews website now has a fix for the bad version of cool previews. installed the new version and problem is solved.
