Issue

I have another kind of problem with Firefox

Description

I check ebay listings each day, and when I click a sale item, Firefox always opens with a tiny sized screen 1" x 1/2" with just a blank face to it. It does not open the ebay page, nor my usual Google home page. This just started three months ago, and it is not caused by an add-on. IE and Chrome don't do this. What could be causing this?

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

User Agent

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US) AppleWebKit/533.4 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/5.0.375.70 Safari/533.4

Try http://kb.mozillazine.org/Corrupt_localstore.rdf (caution: do not delete the localstore.rdf file in the Firefox program installation folder)

Note: Deleting the file localstore.rdf will reset the customizations of the toolbars to the defaults. You can rename localstore.rdf to localstore.rdf.sav to test if that solves it. Then you can restore the customization by copying localstore.rdf.sav to localstore.rdf if it didn't work. --- See also: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Prevent_websites_from_disabling_new_window_features http://kb.mozillazine.org/JavaScript#Advanced_JavaScript_settings
