Firefox won't load any online flyer pages, while IE can load them fine. What is causing this?

I noticed after an update a few months ago (sorry, can honestly not remember which update may have caused this), all of the online flyer webpages wouldn't load. They'll show up as a blank page or everything on the site will load minus the actual flyer. This happens if I try to view the HTML flyer or Flash version... Here's a list of the ones I like to check out online, and I have to open up IE now to load them (very annoying!): FutureShop.ca BestBuy.ca Independent Grocer Most of these ask a postal code, here's one in Ottawa Ontario (K1R 6B2) for those who want to try loading the pages.

  • "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
  • "Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Thanks for the help, I found the culprit that was causing the pages to not load. It was the extension "Adblock Plus". After disabling this only, I can load everything as normal. Thanks again cor-el!

It seems that everysolution want to begin with "start Firefox in safe mode" and then check your addons/plugins one at a time. This is extremely time consuming and irritating. I'm almost at the point of looking for other browsers.
