Mozilla 18.0, Java and eployment tool kit 10.11.2.21 ver 7 11. only the deployment tool kit shows in the addons in mozilla. I have the update platform on the computer but mozilla says I am missing the plugin and wants me to download the previous version 7 10, which will not download and when I go to manual download it offers me 7 11, which it says I already have. Just does not show in addons and fails java test. I have another computer with Vista also and Mozilla 18 and both of the latest addons are there and it passes the test?

hello, in some instances firefox may not be able to detect that the java plugin is installed, because oracle made an error in registering the java plugin for mozilla-based browsers in version 7u10 & 7u11... this will apparently just be fixed with its next release.

Thanks for the info. Will wait a few more days and reinstall It. Funny though that all is ok on my desktop and not ok on my laptop. Both use Vista Home Premium. Have Mozilla 18.0 on both, too. Thank you madperson.
