My firefox toolbar/add-ons/ & other misc has disappeared. Cannot get in there to edit or make changes for some reason. I even reloaded the program. No fix.

Can't add much more to the question. Cannot get to the edit portion of the program. I reloaded the program, no change occurred. This Program has been flawless until today. I have made no changes to it in months. Now all of a sudden, my Firefox toolbar has vanished and don't see when I can edit or fix it. I use Windows XP pro. Thanks for any replies. Seems I may have to drop the program without technical help available for this issue.

Thanks for the reply just now from Tylerdowner. I resolved the issue accidently by right clicking on the top bar area and I found the setting was on "Full Screen". So after clicking that, the entire tool bar reappeared. No issues now. Thanks anyhow.

Hello,

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information. Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!

Thank you.
