How do i COPY (not cut & paste) my Firefox Bookmarks to a Harddrive ?
I tried to COPY and PASTE my extennnnnnnsive (and precious) Firefox Bookmarks (of mostly website pages) from my Desktop pc to my external Harddrive (so i can then copy and feed the Bookmarks from the Harddrive to my little hungry netbook), but when im about to paste it to a new Folder on the Harddrive, there is NO "paste" in the R-click drop-down menu !....
So i went to BestBuy and a one of the head techs said i can "only copy/cut & paste or drag & drop with an Explorer browser, but with a Firefox browser i would "have to find another way thru its system...."
Any solution or procedure for this ?

Hello, I'd recommend using the Firefox Sync function to keep bookmarks synchronized between PC's ( see http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-do-i-set-up-firefox-sync ) , however if you still want to do it manually see http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer and http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/import-bookmarks-html-file
Hope this helps!

Two ways to proceed - Export and Import in HTML format or Backup and Restore a JSON file.
The HTML format will save the bookmark Favcions, but won't handle bookmark Tags data.
The JSON format will have the Tags data, but not the Favicons image data.
Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks -> Import and Backup
Then select your choice of format from the menu.
Then do the opposite for the other device,
